no credit check apartments in charlotte nc

the search for an apartment, condominium, or house for rent (Charlotte, North Carolina) no credit check?

My friend is looking for an apartment, condo or house for rent in Charlotte NC, but have bad credit so you need one place where no credit check. Any suggestions?

Almost all potential owners will make a credit check. There are ways to avoid that. You have to be upfront about it. Tell potential owner you know you have bad credit, but has taken steps XY and Z to deal with it (such as credit find a government-backed consumer counseling center and working with them.) They also say that you can give excellent references from previous owners or persons, exc. You could also consider saying it was due to hospitalization. Because of HIPPA laws prohibit the release of medical records, the owner can not verify that, and probably understand that medical bills are enormous because of credit problems. Finally, you may be able to find someone to co-sign the lease. My parents did for me when my husband and I moved into our first place, his credit was bad because of medical bills due to epilepsy.
